6 Week Body Makeover Review

The creators of the "6 Week Body Makeover" have been bombarding the airwaves with their 30 minute infomercial for years now. So what exactly is it? It purports that every one of us has a different natural body shape and metabolism. They believe (and are willing to sell you) in the concept of a diet and exercise plan that is tailored to your specific metabolism and blood type. By following that concept, your body will lose weight at maximum efficiency.

The Six Week Body Makeover starts with a questionaire, which defines which type of metabolism and body shape you have (if you haven't already figured that out). You then match your body size and shape "Blueprint Cards" in order to target your problem areas. The 6 Week Body Makeover recommends a customized eating plan that is designed to "re-program" your metabolism, as well a 20 minute/day body sculpting program which specifically targets your individual problem areas.

Reality check: our individual metabolisms are determined by weight, age and physical activity and do not alter greatly between people of the same characteristics. (But it sure sounds reasonable, doesn't it?) This product was created to emotionally appeal to frustrated, overweight people.

The 6 Week Body Makeover is expensive at 6 payments of $19.99 plus $19.95 shipping. Try to avoid weight loss programs that promise "fast," "easy," or "quick" results. If long-term weight loss worked like this there would be a lot less overweight people and the creators of the 6 Week Body Makeover wouldn't have to resort to selling their product on hokey infomercials.
