On the Best Life plan dieters can expect to eat about 1,700 per day of balanced nutrition that is not as highly restrictive as most diets are. Dieters are encouraged to exercise as a way to earn rewards and be allowed to consume additional calories. Bob Greene is one of the good guys in this industry of scam artists and pill pushers. His books are sensible and inexpensive and are a great option. My only issue is the exercise portion: very few people actually stick to their daily exercise regimens in the long term because most chose mundane, repetitive forms of exercise. I believe it is essential to take up lifestyle exercise activities such as cycling, running, hiking, climbing, tennis or other activities that create passion and a long term motivation to keep the weight off. Too much focus on food and calorie deprivation sets dieters up for a big fall.
