The most well know blood type diet was created by Naturopath Peter D'Adamo, author of "Eat Right for Your Type" and "The GenoType Diet." According to him, blood type determines which foods to eat. Acid-Alkaline Our blood is slightly alkaline, with a pH level of between 7.35 and 7.45. The theory behind the "Acid-Alkaline Diet" is that our diet should reflect this pH level.
