Body Flex Review

Body Flex is one of the newer and more aggressively marketed weight loss and toning products sold on a slick infomercial and website. It costs about $40, paid in "two easy installments." It is basically a bar with a resistance band that is used to isolate muscle groups using body movements in a seated position. These type of workout tools can be very effective at converting fat in your mid-section and are much more convenient and efficient than going to a gym to use a miriad of machines. The problem is, in the world of weight loss and fitness, the use of marketing words like, "easy and fast," "guaranteed results," "convenient," "100% satisfaction guaranteed," are often the kiss of death. As we all know, weight loss is not easy and certainly not convenient and never will be. The "Body Flex" weight loss plan barely mentions food, which for most of us is the main problem.

In regards to exercise for weight loss, the solution is to not focus on narrowly targeted exercise like Body Flex, but to find a more well-rounded exercise program. We are much bigger fans of lifestyle exercise activities such as tennis, hiking, walking, cycling, dancing, climbing, etcetera... These are the type of activities that you don't think of as exercise and sustain themselves in the long-term. The reality of popular diet products and programs is that few work in the long term because they don't focus on the sustainable strategies of balanced nutrition, exercise and personal motivation. But don't be discouraged, there are good plans out there that can help you achieve your goals.
