The Caveman Diet is based on the diet of our ancient ancestors in prehistoric times. It focuses on protein, while de-emphasizing cultivated products such as rice and bread. This is basically the Atkins Diet with a catchy title.

One example of a typical day includes:

Breakfast: grapefruit and a glass of orange juice.
Lunch: a tossed salad and all the nuts you can eat.
Snacks: as many apples as you like.
Dinner: all the chicken you can eat, along with two servings of vegetables.
