Chasefreedom.com was created in 2001 and has evolved to more than 600 pages of reviews and information. The name "chase freedom" mesymbolizes the ongoing struggle to remain free from the tyranny of obesity, unhealthiness, and a life less full. Its creator and Editor-in-Chief is Chase Stewart, former 235 chain-smoking alcoholic couch-potato turned freedom chaser. He is a mountain climber, backcountry skier, cyclist and kitesurfer. He divides his time seasonally between Utah and Texas. He and Shannon are the creators of the Chase Freedom Diet.

Shannon McCarthy Stewart: shannonreview author, assistant Editor-in-Chief, and webmaster. Shannon is another freedom chaser, having lost 40 pounds. She's now a runner, cyclist, skier and snowshoer.

Sally Sosa: contributor. Provides opinion and commentary. Vibrant and full of energy in her later 60's, she brings a different perspective to health issues.
