The "Hamptons Diet" is another low carb fad diet that worked for a few people and is now making the rounds on the internet. This diet regimen calls for a focus on monounsaturated fats such as macadamia nuts, olive oil, and avocados, along with an increased consumption of fish. Sound like the often-lauded "Mediterranean Diet" ? Yes, and that is basically what it is, minus the pasta, red wine and a more prominent focus on fruits and vegetables.
