The Hollywood 48-Hour Miracle Diet is not a miracle diet, it is a juice fast. Meaning, you starve. How else do you think they could promise you "weight loss" of 10 pounds in two days?
So the Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet is "Miracle Juice", which you drink exclusive of anything else (meaning: no food, no nothing) for 48 hours. Its marketers say that the juice is scientifically formulated to cleanse your body of unhealthy toxins and fat. This "scientific formulation" is said to be a "special" formula of all natural fruits, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and essential oils, which create such a powerful detoxification and fat burning effect that you will lose up to 10 pounds in those two days. Note that this juice consumption will net you a max of about 400 calories per day.
Reality? The Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet is a blend of water, a variety of juices including pineapple, orange and grape, and some additional vitamins and minerals. There is nothing "scientific" here. As we noted above, this is a juice fast, plain and simple. And you can do that - should you be inclined - for a lot less than $19.95.
And should you be inclined? Know that the weight loss is not fat - it's water and muscle. Because when you starve yourself, you effectively shut down your metabolism and water and muscle is what your body burns for fuel - for survival - first. One thing that is scientifically proven is the fact that healthy weight loss - meaning fat - checks in at around a couple of pounds per week, max. It is physiologically impossible to lose the amount of fat in the amount of time claimed by Hollywood Miracle Diet.
Juice fast at your own risk, but if you do - do your wallet a favor and buy regular juice.
