One Day Diet Review

One word: Fad. A one day diet is a "zig-zag" approach to dieting, wherein one day you're on and one day you're off. More specifically: one day you fast and starve, the next day you eat, and repeat the cycle.

There are variations on this theme - including a product marketed on the internet for One Day Diet Wafers in French Vanilla and Milk Chocolate. Pointing out that "you are never more than 24 hours away from your favorite meal", the Wafer people assert that you can lose 20 pounds a month. Just pop 2 of these babies every hour for 10 hours on "Diet Day" (along with raw fruit if you need it), which will get you through to "Food Day" (on which you can have burgers and such), while your body is all the while turning itself into a "fat burning furnace", I guess due to these magical wafers. That's it.

Apart from the fact that this approach has no scientific merit and would probably grow very wearying, the wafers are offered at $40 bucks a bottle for 14 days. Read the fine print and you discover that the 14 days also includes the 7 days of that period that you're eating food, so you're really paying $40 bucks for 7 days of wafers.
