Pro Review of Radiant Health

 

Radiant Health refers to the basic building blocks for which peak health can be established. These building blocks include Basic Essence, Mineral Essence, and Herbal Essence. These products are based on the book "Beyond the Zone" by Prof. Brian Scott Peskin. The Radiant Health products main purpose is to help people be as healthy as possible and to have a maximum shield against disease. Because of the way the body uses healthy essential oils, many people also use the products to help lose weight.

For decades we have been misled by nutritionists who make claims based on non-scientific studies. We have been led to believe that "low-fat” is proper for good health. As a result more people than ever are overweight, diabetic, fatigued, and constantly sick, not to mention the increase in heart disease and cancer despite better medical technology. One hundred years ago people didn't count fat grams. They ate foods high in protein and natural fats such as meats, cheeses, and eggs. They didn't have the heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and obesity problems that we have today either. Just by using logic and common sense one can see that our current standards of nutrition can’t be correct. The truth, as you shall discover, is that eating excess carbohydrates causes excess fat storage, fatigue, and diabetes.

Why are many people constantly hungry despite eating large amounts of food?

Food processing removes the healthy essential oils, commonly called essential fatty acids (EFAs), from our foods in order to increase the shelf life. As a result of the processing people have become deficient in essential life-supporting EFAs. Our bodies cannot make EFAs - they must come from the foods we eat. When the body becomes deficient in EFAs, it naturally craves carbohydrates. The body gives the hunger signal in effort to obtain EFAs. When we eat more processed carbohydrates the body still doesn't get the EFAs, thus we become hungry again and the cycle continues. Eat, crave…, Eat, crave…all day long. This is why many people are constantly hungry, despite eating large amounts of food. Basic essence is an EFA supplement created to replenish the EFAs our systems require. When the EFAs are restored in the system, the cravings for carbohydrates are eliminated and you will desire benifitial foods containing protein and natural fats.

Carbohydrates and Fat Storage

All carbohydrates are sugars. All carbohydrates go to glucose in the body and stimulate insulin production. Insulin is the hormone that causes fat to be stored in the body from all the carbohydrates that we have been taught to eat. The end result of eating carbohydrates is fat storage. Carbohydrates make you fat! Dietary fats and proteins do not go to fat in the body, because they don’t generate an insulin response like carbohydrates. No, all things are not equal, and the frequently touted "Everything in moderation", is misleading when it comes to human physiology. Great damage has been caused because of this lack of detail.

Permanent Weight Loss

Permanent weight loss can be achieved easily Radiant Health. The body has a natural sensor for monitoring its own fat storage, but for most people it is "short circuited" due to EFA deficiency. Once the EFAs are restored in the body it can function properly again. The combination of Basic Essence and cutting back on carbohydrates make permanent fat loss easy.

Why doctors and nutritionists are still talking "low-fat"

Doctors don’t learn about nutrition in their studies. They get their nutrition information from nutritionists. Nutritionists don’t study medical textbooks to learn about nutrition, because they don’t have the background necessary to understand what is in the textbooks. Nutritionists refer to "studies" to get their information on nutrition and health. The problem with using studies is that most studies are paid for by organizations wanting specific results. If a study doesn’t come out the way the organization wants, it’s either redone until the result is achieved or taken to another research group that can get the desired results. This is not hard to believe considering all of the conflicting studies that come out constantly. The original studies on nutrition and low-fat diets where funded by the cereal companies. These companies invested large amounts of money advertising the low-fat study results. The cereal companies also know that processing EFAs out of foods causes an increase in cravings for carbohydrates. The more of their cereal you eat, the more you desire it. A financial gold-mine, but a hazardous health condition! The truth is that if doctors would open their own textbooks and look at the pages dealing with nutrition, they would find that dietary fat does not automatically go to fat in the body, only carbohydrates automatically go to fat in the body.

The truth about cholesterol

Most people believe that cholesterol build-up is causing heart problems. This is true, but sadly we are only getting half of the story. Cholesterol is a healing agent in the arteries. Cuts can form in the arteries, and cholesterol builds up in order to heal the cuts. Cholesterol basically forms a scab on the inside of the artery. A healing agent being blamed as the "cause"? Yes, and another financial gold-mine but this time for the cholesterol lowering pharmaceutical manufacturers. Fifty percent (50%) of people with heart problems have low cholesterol and fifty percent (50%) have high cholesterol, so why is so much emphasis put on the cholesterol itself? The body does not have a sensor for cholesterol levels whereas it does for many other systems or substances in the body that need monitoring. Some call this an oversight by our maker, but actually the evidence shows that cholesterol is a substance that doesn’t need to be monitored. The truth is that cholesterol is a required substance in the body and is used for many important functions. The function of the so-called "bad cholesterol" (LDL) is to protect and carry life supporting healthy essential oils (EFAs) to every cell in your body, including the brain. Doctors should be treating the cause of the build-up instead of only treating the symptoms. There are several causes of the cuts in arteries. One is that EFA deficiency allows the arteries to become rigid. When arteries become rigid they can get cuts in them more easily. Remember, food processing removes the life supporting EFAs from our foods. People used to fry in bacon grease and eat meats, cheeses, and eggs as the main portion of their diets, not processed carbohydrates. These people also lived long healthy lives, without constant doctor visits and drugs to treat symptoms (drugs alter the system to "smooth over" symptoms, but rarely cure problems).

Why Vitamins are not part of Radiant Health

Vitamins are important in the body, but there are plenty of them in the foods that we eat. The problem with getting vitamins is that we are not getting the minerals that we need, because most soil today is mineral deficient. Minerals are used to make vitamins effective. They are termed coenzymes. When taking mineral essence we are getting the minerals that we need, which allows us to utilize the vitamins that we get from the foods we eat. If you have been "mega-dosing" on vitamins and not getting results, now you know why.

All mineral supplements are not the same

All minerals are not the same. For nutrition to reach your cells, protein is often required as the transport mechanism. Furthermore, integral to many cells, proteins "guide" essential nutrients into the cell. For effective use by your body, a mineral (inorganic rock) must be bonded to a protein. That is the way Mother Nature designed minerals to be assimilated – not an ionized form. That’s why regular minerals and even the colloidal minerals, though highly promoted, are not effective minerals. They are not bonded to proteins, and even worse, the colloid is too big to enter the cell, even if it were bonded to a protein.

Eating more protein is not harmful to the kidneys

A common belief is that high protein diets are harmful to the kidneys. This is totally false. Remember, protein carriers are (usually negative) charged. The kidney membrane has the same negative charge. Therefore, proteins cannot readily enter the kidneys; they are repelled – like 2 magnets of the same pole place together! The problem that can occur is that if someone overloads on carbohydrates, causing high blood glucose levels, proteins can be surrounded by glucose (encapsulated) and this is what insulates the charge and allows the protein to get into the kidneys. Sugar (carbohydrates) is easily filtered by the kidneys. So when you are overdosing on carbs you are unknowingly losing precious protein. This cannot happen if you don’t overload on carbohydrates or if you have the EFAs that you need.

Ketones and Ketosis

Is a condition called "ketosis" something to be concerned about? No. Ketones are produced when your own bodyfat is broken down for energy use. This is a completely natural and required process. We should be more concerned with a shortage of ketones! Most people haven’t been told that the heart prefers ketones for energy over any other fuels. Your muscles can’t even use sugar unless under intense physical duress. They want ketones too. By not feeding the heart enough of its preferred fuel we may be contributing to its premature failure.

Carbohydrates and diabetes

The human body is a system in a constant state of equilibrium. When we eat carbohydrates they are converted to glucose (sugar). This glucose gets into the blood, which raises the blood sugar level. Since the body has to be in equilibrium, excess sugar in the blood must be removed to maintain equilibrium. The hormone called insulin is produced to remove the sugar in the blood. The pancreas is the organ that produces insulin. In diabetics, the pancreas is either not functioning and can’t produce insulin or it can’t produce enough insulin to keep the blood sugar levels down. In either case, minimizing the amount of glucose entering the blood is important because that reduces the amount of insulin needed. Minimizing carbohydrate intake minimizes glucose production and reduces the amount of glucose entering in the blood. Finally, you tired pancreas gets some relief. Minimizing carbohydrates allows diabetics to need less insulin. Diabetics find their blood sugar levels easier to control because the blood sugar will be more consistent and will not have the "ups and downs". By taking Basic Essence (an EFA supplement discussed latter) the cravings and desire for carbohydrates goes away making it easier to kick the "carb" addiction.
