Slim in 6 by Debbie Siebers Review

The basic concept of "Slim in 6" is a good one: it focuses on aerobic exercise along with muscle toning exercises for an hour each day for 6 out of 7 days a week. The Slim in 6 food plan is equally rational, which follows a low fat, balanced regimen. Along with an equally important focus on motivation, this product has all the ingredients of a winner.

The problem is, Slim in 6 promises an awful lot in 6 weeks and is overly optimistic for the average person. Its advertising is as slick as it comes, from the website, to the glossy infomercial with its super-fit instructor and pupils. The attempt is to sell an image that is unattainable for most people. The website attempts to sell a program that is "valued" at $3700 for "three easy monthly payments of $19.95." Remember, anything that sounds too good to be true probably is.

Despite all that, you could do a lot worse in this industry of pill pushers who preach "do nothing and still lose weight." Anyone who can find his/her motivation to exercise for an hour, six days a week and follows a decreased calorie low fat diet is going to lose weight, and look and feel a lot better, without having to resort to expensive workout videos and even more expensive product upgrades which will be marketed to you once you purchase most entry level products.

With so many weight loss options available, it's hard to know what to do. The reality of popular diet products and programs, such as Slim in 6, is that few work in the long term because they don't focus on the sustainable strategies of balanced nutrition, exercise and personal motivation. "Slim in 6" is on the right track, but achieving and maintaining weight loss goals requires a longer focus than 6 weeks. But don't be discouraged, there are good plans out there that can help you achieve your goals.
