Thermo Lift is a brand name for a diet pill and supplement which once contained the stimulant ephedrine as well as synthetic chromium. Many of the new "ephedra-free" products now substitute synephrine for ephedrine. Each is effective at creating a thermogenic, calorie burning effect, but are notorious for side-effects.

The bottom line with these pills that promise a magic thermogenic effect (boost metabolism) is that they have side effects that make taking them long-term completely unreasonable. In order to maintain any weight loss you would have to take them indefinitely. There is the problem.
